What is Counselling?
We offer a FREE general Youth Counselling Service for young people between 12 - 25 years and a FREE Young Parents Counselling Service, for pregnant and parenting young people under the age of 25 years.
Counselling is an opportunity for you to talk to someone about concerns you may have about yourself or others around you. It is a safe place where you can talk about private things with someone who will listen and not judge you.
Sometimes we experience different challenges, and getting support can be helpful. If you're feeling down, stressed out, angry, confused, a bit stuck, or want to gain some skills to do things differently, you can talk to a counsellor.
The Youth Services Counselling Team
Counselling is available to young people who live, study or work in Wyndham and are aged between 12 and 25 years old.
There is a Youth Counsellor available to provide generalist support to young people, as well as a Young Parents Counsellor available to provide support to pregnant and parenting young people.
Cost
There is no cost to attend counselling at Youth Services.
