18-25 Breakaway Excursions
A recreation program for 18-25 years who have mild to moderate disabilities.
The aim of this project is to provide:
- Enhanced respite options for people with disabilities aged 18-25 years living in the Wyndham municipality.
- Develop social skills and supportive friendships
- Support families and care givers through a positive recreation experience
Am I Eligible?
The program is offered to young adults aged between 18 and 25 years that live in the Wyndham municipality. The program is catered to people with a mild to moderate disability.
Costs
Fees & Charges: An $8.00 fee is required to be paid prior to each excursion.
Participants are able to bring extra money to purchase other items when on the program.
Enrolments & payments must be made prior to each excursion date
at the Youth Resource Centre

NOTE: Each participant must have completed a once off profile form prior to their first excursion. Please contact the program co-ordinator for a copy of the profile form or to discuss any specific requirement or need for your child.
