SpiritWest Services (SWS) is the education, training and community development division of the Western Bulldogs Football Club. It was established to further drive the community focus that is a long-recognised feature of the Club.
SWS is a nationally-accredited Registered Training Organisation delivering training programs to people beginning their careers, those hoping to enter the workforce, and up-skilling those who are already in the workforce. Some of the training programs are delivered to young people who are disconnected from the formal employment and education systems.
The aim of SpiritWest Services is to:
- Build community relationships
- Enhance quality of life through sport participation
- Explore diversity
- Provide training and work related skills to improve opportunity for employment
