Young People's Health Service
Young People's Health Service wants to improve the health of young people from 12 - 22 years who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, including young people in refuges and temporary accommodation. The service is totally free and young people are encouraged to drop in during clinic hours. Nurses and doctors are available and provide treatment, information and referral as needed.

Somazone
Somazone focuses on health issues and aims to empower young people to address their physical, emotional and social health needs in a way that is relevant, non-judgmental and anonymous.
Young people can anonymously find answers to their questions, some of which may be too embarrassing to talk to teachers, parents or friends about. Health-related questions are anonymously submitted to the website by young people. These questions are forwarded to relevant health professionals who have volunteered their time to answer questions. Within a week, the questions and answers are reviewed and published on the website. This process has created a database of more than 2,000 questions and answers on the website that other young people can refer to.

Many young carers tell us that caring can be a great thing to do - that they're proud of who they are and what they do and that they've built up a whole swag of useful skills. Sometimes though young carers say that caring can affect how they feel, how much time they get to spend with friends, doing schoolwork or holding down a job, and that often they need some help.
