    Youth Law
    Youthlaw is the first specialist young people's community legal centre in Victoria.

    Youthlaw aims to:

    • provide legal advice and casework services to young people aged up to 25 years of age
    • undertake proactive legal casework that assists young people to exercise their rights
    • conduct education programs around legal rights and responsibilities for young people,
    • provide advice and information about young people's legal rights and responsibilities to advocate for children and young people and the wider community
    • advocate on justice policy issues for young people
    • support lawyers and legal advocates who regularly act for young people, by providing research, training and policy development in matters of children's rights
    • involve young people in real decisions about how they want their legal centre to run.

    This web based legal resource is designed to help people gain access to the law. The website covers  70 areas of the law including all the day to day matters which affect people’s lives such as neighbourhood disputes, social security, family law, debt and many other areas.
