    Quick solutions for anger

    Recognising anger
    · You might recognize anger and confusion by feeling like there’s a
cloud in your head.  Or you might be making wrong decisions like
drinking alcohol late at night, or take a drag from your mate’s cigarette.

    · You might have physical stress by cramping in your body like back
pains.  Or you might be a bit more angry and tense your arms a
lot. You may not feel sleepy and have a lot of energy.

    Dealing with anger

    · Try to ignore annoying people. How you can do this is by walking
away or going somewhere quiet i.e. bedroom.  If the trouble is at
school, try to walk away from the situation.  If you can’t do
      this, tell a teacher.

    · Try not to keep anger inside you, tell someone about what’s
going on for you or the pressure of things like bullying will
bottle up and you might explode in anger. Ways on telling
someone might be to talk to a counsellor or your family like an
aunty or an uncle. Nana’s are the best for listening.

    · Try to find things that help you relax, like shooting some
hoops with a friend or going to the cinemas. Try something that
      relaxes you.

    Face the toughness
    face the toughness
Try to take out your anger. You could punch a punching bag, or do karate, or go to the gym. Most boys are very physical and want to hit something when they’re frustrated. If this is you, you might want to take up a sport like karate or footy.

    · You have to control your anger or you might hurt yourself or
      somebody who is your friend.

    · When you feel in control of your anger it is a good feeling.
It shows you and some other people that people can change.
It is a good feeling of accomplishment when you control your anger.

    · If you are a person at school that might have been in a few
fights and you can’t control yourself, you need to look at yourself
and say “Do I have a problem?”
